Vincent Van Gogh’s Birthday 2010

Every year on 30th March, the Yellow House celebrates Vincent Van Gogh’s birthday by doing a performance around his life and how it inspires us today.

Van Gogh is our hero, it was through the book ‘Lust for Life’ that inspired George and interested him in art. The name for our group of young artists, Yellow House, is inspired by Van Gogh’s house in Arles.

It was not just the painting of his ‘Yellow House’ that inspired us but the idea that Van Gogh always left his door open for everyone to see his work.
